AI Engineering Workshop: Vibe Coding 101

Build a SaaS-style prototype in one day

A practical AI engineering workshop for people who want to understand how modern software products are designed, built, tested, and shipped using disciplined AI-assisted engineering methods.

Using VouchMeApp as the real-world exemplar, this workshop walks participants through the end-to-end build of a SaaS product: from problem framing and user journeys to rapid prototyping, database design, vibe coding with production discipline, structured testing, deployment, and human-in-the-loop judgement.

This is not a passive AI awareness session. It is a guided build workshop.

The workshop covers
  • Turning a business problem into a buildable product brief
  • Mapping users, roles, permissions, and workflows
  • Creating a product requirements document that an AI coding agent can actually use
  • Using frontier models to generate, review, debug, and improve code
  • Moving from idea to prototype to deployed web application
  • Understanding where AI accelerates development, and where human-in-the-loop judgement remains critical
  • The journey from initial prototype to a production-ready tool backed by structured testing and deployment discipline
Delivery options
Corporate full-day intensiveFrom $2,000 + GST

A full-day session for organisations wanting to understand AI-assisted product development through a practical, end-to-end build.

Zoom cohort workshop

A remote version for individuals, founders, small teams, and Meetup participants. Available by arrangement — being developed for online delivery.

Meetup taster session

A shorter introduction to the workflow, designed to demonstrate the method and help participants decide whether they want to join the deeper build workshop.

Assumptions and prerequisites
  • A laptop you can use throughout the session
  • Access to at least one frontier general-purpose AI model
  • A modern browser
  • Willingness to iterate rapidly across product design, prompts, code, and interfaces
  • Basic comfort using web apps and copying/pasting structured prompts or code

Microsoft 365 Copilot on its own is not sufficient for this workshop.

Participants do not need to be professional developers, but they do need access to a capable frontier model such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or an equivalent coding-capable AI assistant. The workshop is designed for people who want to learn the build process, not simply watch a presentation about AI.

Best suited for founders, product teams, innovation teams, analysts, service designers, business owners, and technically curious professionals who want a grounded view of what AI-assisted software development now makes possible.
